The
Hand Center encompasses the team approach used to treat injuries and diseases
of the hand, wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder. We know the importance
of good communication and consultation among the surgeon, therapist, physician
assistant, and other staff members to give patients the best chance of a successful
outcome. This team approach can focus on the patients' individual needs
and tailor a treatment plan that is best suited for them. This is very
important since hand injuries can be potentially very complex and difficult
to treat.
